Day 1 – Istanbul

Arrival to Istanbul Ataturk airport. You will be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel .

Day 2 – Istanbul

After breakfast, visit Hagia Sophia, which was built in AD 537 by Emperor Justinian. It remains one of the greatest architectural marvels of the world. Explore the Hippodrome, which was once the scene of horse and chariot races and the centre of Byzantine civic life, and which contains the famous Egyptian Obelisk, the Obelisk of Constantine, the Serpentine Column and the German Fountain. Proceed to the Blue Mosque, famous for its six minarets and unique blue Iznik tiles. After lunch, visit Topkapi Palace, imperial residence of the Sultan and his court, and the seat of government for the Ottoman Empire. See the priceless jewellery collection in the imperial treasury, sacred Islamic relics, palace kitchens, Chinese porcelain, weapons, calligraphy and more. Finish up at the Grand Bazaar, and explore the largest covered market in the world with nearly 4000 shops selling antiques, jewellery, handicrafts, carpets, leatherwear, souvenirs and almost anything else.

·        Hagia Sophia is closed on Mondays, Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesday, Grand Bazaar is cosed on Sundays.

·        Hagia Sophia is replaced with Chora Museum and Topkapi Palace is replaced with Basilica Cistern.


Day 3 – Istanbul – Trabzon

Pick up from our hotel  and visit Spice Bazaar, also known as the Eyptian Market, where we will smell the different  aromas of various species. Proceed to Golden Horn, the natural harbour of the historic peninsula where we will see the Fener Orthodox Patriarchate and 22 km. long Byzantine City Walls which are the strongest fortification of the middle age. We then embark on our boat for our Bosphorus cruise where we will see spectular marble palaces, ancient wooden villas, Rumeli Fortress, and many more. We disembark and have lunch at a seafood restaurant before driving to the airport for our flight to Trabzon. Pick up from the airport and transfer to our hotel. Overnight.

Day 4 -  Trabzon

After breakfast, visit Sumela  Monastery, a Greek Orthodox monastery nestled in a steep cliff at an altitude of 1200 metres. Drive to Zigana Mountain which offers magnificent views. Continue to Gumushane to visit Karaca Cave and return to Trabzon for overnight.

Day 5 – Trabzon -  Uzungol

Before driving to Uzungol, we first discover Trabzon city and visit Ayasofya Church and Trabzon Castle. After lunch, drive to Uzungol and take a walk around this beautiful lake. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

Day 6 – Rize – Camlihemsin – Ayder

After breakfast, drive to Rize city and visit Botanical Tea Garden. Then we will continue to Firtina Valley, and arrive to Ayder Plateau. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

Day 7 – Ayder – Trabzon - Istanbul

Free leisure time to walk around this beautiful green area until our transfer to Trabzon airport for our flight back  to Istanbul and stay overnight.

Day 8 – Istanbul

Free time until our transfer to Ataturk airport for our flight home.
